Sewing Class In 2019, we held a sewing class programme in Speu Village with the help of only 4 units of sewing machines and 1 unit of an edge sewing machine.
Computer Class Iltizam Relief Society had also held computer lessons in Trabengchuck Village, Thom Province. This ensures that the youth of the village will be workforce-ready once they enter the labour market, giving them a competitive edge.
Cambodia
In Cambodia, we launched sewing and computer classess to equip locals with valuable skills. Starting in 2019, we introduced a sewing program in Speu Village and computer lessons in Tropaeng Chhuk Village. Over 20 students have graduated with some starting small sewing businesses.
Nepal
We offers sewing classes to Nepalese women, with a focus on single mothers and widows, to help them acquire new skills and improve their income opportunities. The top-performing students will have the chance to practice their skills at our incubation centre.
Malaysia
We empower the Rohingya community in Malaysia by providing English classes to refugees, helping them build a better future. This supports 40 disadvantaged children with education, language skills and confidence-building.
