Iltizam Relief Society, formerly known as Al-I’tisam Relief Program, began its journey in February 2013 following a devastating attack in the Gaza Strip that inspired a call to action. Moved by the tragedy, our founder, Haji Shah Sapiei, led a humanitarian mission to Gaza, Palestine—a transformative experience that deeply impacted the team and sparked the creation of Iltizam Relief Society. Officially registered in Malaysia on April 8, 2013, the organization has since grown into one of the country's most active NGOs. Today, Iltizam continues its mission of compassion, providing vital aid both locally and across the globe in countries such as Cambodia, Palestine, Burma, Bangladesh, India, Yemen, Syria, and Indonesia.
