Iltizam Food Bank was launched in October 2018 during a challenging period for Malaysia due to the global economy and rising living costs, impacting urban poor communities.
The food bank provides food aid in the form of groceries for the underprivileged, sadaqah Ramadan, emergency relief, and hot meals, especially during emergencies. It supports the poor, jobless, single mothers, those who have lost breadwinners, victims of natural disasters, and other vulnerable people.
