In Kashmir, a region marked by its beauty yet deeply affected by conflict, many families face the daily challenges of poverty, hunger, and freezing winter conditions. The ongoing instability in the area has worsened economic hardships, leaving basic needs like warmth and food out of reach for countless individuals.
Our campaign aims to provide warm blankets and food aid during the winter months, which typically last from November to March. These harsh months see temperatures drop to life-threatening levels, making it vital to deliver timely support.
We are focusing on the most vulnerable populations: impoverished families, destitute individuals, single mothers, and orphaned children in Indian-administered Kashmir.
