Also, the relentless floods left five villages in shambles, with paddy field farmers and workers facing the grim reality of losing their main crops.
Furthermore, recognizing the urgency of the situation, Iltizam Relief Society initiated an emergency aid effort to support the 150 affected families in rebuilding their lives.
Essential food aid, in the form of carefully assembled food baskets, became a lifeline for these families, sustaining them for a crucial three-week period.
In addition, the success of this humanitarian mission was not achieved alone. Gratitude is extended to the Bachok District Council, the ADUN office, and the local Penghulu for their invaluable logistical support and the tireless efforts of volunteers.
