In 2022, devastating floods struck Pakistan, leaving thousands of families in Nawabshah homeless and in desperate need of help. At Iltizam Relief Society, we are dedicated to rebuilding lives through our Pakistan Community Shelter Project. Our goal is to construct 200 homes for these victims, with 35 units already completed.
Nawabshah, located in the Sindh province of Pakistan, was one of the hardest-hit areas by the 2022 floods. The impact was catastrophic, with homes destroyed and entire communities left vulnerable. These families now face extreme weather conditions without adequate shelter, making the need for immediate action critical.
Our mission is to provide safe and secure homes for those affected by the floods. Each house costs only USD 1,600 to build, offering a stable and dignified living environment for families who have lost everything. By constructing these shelters, we aim to restore hope and security to these devastated communities.
You can make a significant impact by supporting our community shelter project. Your contributions will directly fund the construction of homes, ensuring that every dollar helps a family in need. Here’s how your donation can help:
So far, we have completed 35 homes, providing shelter and hope to families who were previously living in makeshift tents. These new homes are not just buildings; they are a symbol of resilience and a step towards rebuilding their lives.
